FIREFIGHTERS were called to a school in Ipswich after a blaze broke out on the playing fields.
A crew from Princes Street fire station arrived at Westbourne Sports College, in Marlow Road at around 4.40pm where the discovered a fire in bushes and undergrowth.
Flames had engulfed an area measuring 25 metres by 5 metres.
The fire was under control by around 5pm.
