Engineers have been called to remove a fallen tree which brought down a set of power lines overnight in Suffolk.
Police cordoned off the B1125 Dunwich Road in Blythburgh, between the Chapel Road and The Street junction near the A12, at around 4.30am today.
BT and Highways Agency engineers are expected on the scene at 7am to remove the fallen tree which brought down a set of attached power lines, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.
She said the road is completely blocked but said traffic on the nearby A12 has not been affected.
There is not an estimated time when the road will reopen.
