A PENSIONER was flown to hospital by a sea rescue helicopter today after being taken ill onboard a cruise ship off the Suffolk coast.
The incident happened 20 miles off Felixstowe at 3.52pm on Sunday when Thames coastguard received an emergency call for help from the Crown Princess passenger ship.
Wattisham's search rescue helicopter air lifted a 70-year-old man to Ipswich Hospital after it was believed he has suffered a stroke.
