POLICE searching for an 18-year-old Suffolk man have discovered a body in Yorkshire.
POLICE searching for an 18-year-old Suffolk man have discovered a body in Yorkshire.
Gareth Oates, of Stowmarket, was last seen at West Suffolk College at 10am today, where he had attended a class.
Police also believed that he may have been to Bury Railway Station at some point during the morning.
Suffolk Police were contacted by staff at British Transport Police who reported finding the body of a man near a station at Marsden, near Huddersfield, which matched the description of the missing teen.
Officers carried out extensive searches for Mr Oates and CCTV footage revealed that he had travelled to Yorkshire.
British Transport Police, West and North Yorkshire police then joined the search for the missing teen.
The body is yet to be identified.
