A BOGUS caller has struck at the home of a Suffolk pensioner this afternoon.
The incident happened in Kildare Avenue, Ipswich, when a man claiming to be from the council conned his way into the home of a 72-year-old female and stole money.
The man said he needed to check her electricity.
He is described as being white, aged 35 to 40 years old, about 5ft10 tall, large build with short thinning hair and wearing a blue button up shirt. He was carrying a laptop and a zip up folder.
The incident happened about 12.45pm.
