POLICE sealed off a section of the beach at Sizewell this morning after a member of the public discovered a small munitions device.
A Royal Navy bomb disposal team attended the scene at about 10am and shortly after their arrival they removed the ordnance from the area rather than exploding it.
The police cordons were removed by about 10.45am and the beach has now reopened.
