BOXING legend Mike Tyson came to Essex at the weekend as part of an official tour of the UK.

The retired heavyweight champion was at Five Lakes Hotel, Golf, Country Club and Spa near Maldon on Saturday before moving on to Cardiff yesterday.

Fans attending the event were able to have their picture taken with the now-retired legend and enjoy a slap-up meal, before Tyson took part in a 45-minute question and answer session.

The 43-year-old, who is now retired, still holds the title of the youngest man ever to win Wold Boxing Council, World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation heavyweight titles.
