A 16-year-old boy is due to appear before Ipswich magistrates charged with drink driving, failing to stop, careless driving, making off without payment and driving without documents.
He was arrested after police received reports of a car being seen in collision with the crash barrier on the A14 Felixstowe-bound at Trimley early on January 10.
The teenager, who is from Great Yarmouth, is due to appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court on Thursday.
