The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called to a boy who broke his leg playing rugby.
Medics were called at around 12.15pm to assist the boy who had been playing in Diss. Colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service also attended.
A doctor and paramedic from the air crew treated the boy before accompanying him to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital via land ambulance.
A charity spokeswoman said the boy was thought to be “recovering well”.
