NEWMARKET: Boyzone is the latest act to confirm it will perform at Newmarket Nights 2011, the venue has announced.

Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham will serenade Suffolk pop-lovers with hits such as “Baby, can I hold you’ and ‘No Matter What’ on August 5.

Stephen Wallis, Newmarket Racecourses managing director, said he was “delighted” to welcome back the boyband, which last performed at the venue in 2009.

He said: “Ronan Keating has performed 3 times here as a solo artist and Boyzone have performed twice, each time, ticket sales have been fantastic.

“It’s clear to say that Boyzone are a firm favourite with our Newmarket Nights audience and therefore its very fitting they are part of the 25th anniversary line-up.”

Meanwhile, Suffolk Boyzone fans have been getting excited about the summer date on Twitter ever since it was announced earlier today with dozens tweeting about the event.

Tickets cost £21 for the garden enclosure, £37 for the grandstand and paddock and £37 for the premier enclosure.

Also playing at the racecourse as part of the annual Newmarket Nights event are Texas, Peter Andre and Tom Jones.
