DETECTIVES are hoping the release of CCTV images of a suspected house thief in Braintree will lead to his arrest.
The theft happened inside a house on Wickham Crescent at some stage during the evening of Tuesday, July 3, when a man stole approximately �1,000 worth of jewellery, including a G-Ice watch.
Investigating Officer Ds Susie Pink said: “We would urge people to look closely at the CCTV images and contact us if they know who he is.”
The thief is described as white, in his 20s, of slim build and approximately 5ft 8ins tall. He is thought to be of Eastern European origin and speaks with such an accent.
Anyone with information in connection with this theft is urged to contact detectives at Braintree police station on 101.
