A MAN had to be released from his car by paramedics and firefighters following an accident in Braintree this evening.
The single-vehicle accident happened at about 7pm in London Road and two fire crews were sent to the scene.
An Essex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The man was trapped by his injuries so after administering first aid, crews stood by awaiting the arrival of an ambulance team before he could be moved. The casualty was released at 8.20pm.”
It is not known how serious his injuries are.
