A MAN has been duped out of hundreds of pounds by two men pretending to be police officers.

The victim, aged in his eighties, found the two men in his property in Keeble Way, Braintree yesterday at 3pm. They said they were police detectives and while he was distracted took the cash.

One of the men is described as white, 5ft 8ins, slim build, shaven head and between 45 to 55 years of age. He was wearing a black fleece, black trousers and boots.
