OFFICERS have released an e-fit of a woman wanted in connection with an assault.

The victim was sat in her car in the McDonalds car park at Galleys Corner, Braintree, on February 2 at 12.30am when she accidentally leant on her horn.

The suspect got out of a Mitsubishi car and walked over the victim’s Ford Fiesta.

She is reported to have opened the car door and shouted abuse at her before trying to drag her from the car. The assault left the woman with injuries to her head and face.

The attacker then got back in her car and drove off.

She is described as white, aged 20 to 40, has straight brown shoulder length hair and was wearing patterned leggings with knee high black boots and spoke with a local accent.
