A Suffolk preparatory school was named as a finalist in a prestigious national award ceremony for boarding schools last week.
On Friday, representatives from Framlingham College’s Preparatory School Brandeston Hall attended the annual Times Education Schools Independent Schools Awards at the Grosvenor Hotel, London. It was a finalist in the Boarding Initiative of the Year category, nominated for its flexible boarding initiative, Brandeston Plus.
Wellington School in Somerset were crowned overall winners on the night.
Brandeston Hall headteacher Martin Myers-Allen said: “Brandeston were up against some serious contenders. It was a fine evening and very encouraging to know just how many other people, country wide, had heard and held such a high regard for the prep school and Framlingham College.”
