A Greater Anglia train on a level crossing
Emergency works in Brandon are causing congestion in the town.
The A1065 Mundford Road is blocked in both directions at the junction with Brandon Road.
There is traffic queueing in both directions and congestion to the Crown Street junction.
It had been previously reported that there was a level crossing failure, however the road has been closed at the level crossing while emergency repairs are being carried out to a dangerous BT cover on the Norfolk side of the crossing.
The barriers will be down until around 6-7pm while this work is carried out.
