Events to help Brandon look its best will be happening over the next few months.

Brandon in Bloom, which is dedicated to creating a cleaner, greener and more beautiful town, is hosting a Pancake Party on Sunday, March 10 at the Church Institute.

It will also host a community litter pick on Saturday, March 23, as part of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign.

And finally, on Sunday, June 9, the Brandon Open Gardens take place and raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice. The group is looking for gardens to be included on the route and for any local businesses interested in sponsoring or providing raffle prizes.

Brandon in Bloom secretary Rachel Sobiechowski said: “The group is really excited by all the events we have planned this year for Brandon in Bloom.

“We cannot achieve any of this without the help of our volunteers and working together with other groups to clean and brighten up Brandon is a lot of fun and very rewarding.

“If you are able to help with any of the events mentioned in this article, or with our 2019 Anglia in Bloom campaign, please contact us on info@brandoninbloom.co.uk”
