Police are looking into the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man in Brandon on Wednesday.
The ambulance service was called to an address in Manor House Court in Brandon at approximately 11am, with a report that a 73-year-old-man had collapsed. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s death at this stage is being treated as unexplained and a postmortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the cause of death.
The coroner has been informed and enquiries are ongoing. A spokesman from the East Anglian Air Ambulance said: “Despite the best efforts of all those at the scene, unfortunately nothing could be done to help this patient.
“Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this sad and difficult time.”
