FIRE crews have broken up a straw fire and left it to burn out.
They were called around 6.15pm to reports that several tonnes of straw was on fire in Brandon.
Firefighters arrived in Wangford Road and spent more than an hour and half breaking up the straw and spreading the fire.
It has now been left to burn itself out.
