A Suffolk village is to host its annual garage sale to benefit good causes both at home and abroad.

A Suffolk village is to host its annual garage sale to benefit good causes both at home and abroad.

The village of Brantham will host the event which was held for the first time last year.

The day was organised by the Nepal Children’s Trust, a small local charity which hopes to help children living in poverty in the Asian country.

Organisers said that the turn out was good for last year’s event and that support had been high.

There was only one way in which the event could have been better: “overwhelming feedback was that warmer weather would have been nicer,” said organisers.

This years’ event will be held on June 16 between 9.30am and 3pm to try to provide this missing agreement.
