A MAN is in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a bridge over the A14 this morning.
The man was hit by a lorry on the dual carriageway.
Emergency services were alerted immediately and he has been taken by ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Cambridgeshire police said the incident happened at 5am at the bridge near the turn-off for Histon.
Traffic was diverted up a sliproad and down the other side back onto the A14 while the dual carriageway was closed to enable emergency crews to attend to the man. The road is now open again.
