THERE was a happy ending for “Binderella” as it took the top prize in an unusual and light-hearted village competition.
A parade of brightly decorated wheelie bins, accompanied by the local school band, was held in Laxfield on Saturday to help raise money for the parish church.
Bins were then judged for the most interesting, different and elegant designs, with "Binderella" taking first prize.
The event also saw a large number of private gardens in the village opened up to the public as part of the fund-raising day.
