A 26-year-old man is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court this morning to face a charge of dangerous driving following an incident on the A12 at Brightwell in the early hours of Wednesday, October 16.
Police officers on patrol were between the BT and Foxhall roundabouts around 1.55am when they saw a vehicle being driven north on the southbound carriageway.
The vehicle was stopped a short time later. The 26-year-old, from St Peter’s Street in Lowestoft has been summonsed to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court from 10am this morning where he will be charged with dangerous driving.
