Motorists are being warned to expect delays on the A12 between Ipswich and Colchester after a lorry broke down near Copdock.

Police were called at 11.26am today with reports of a broken down vehicle heading northbound on the A12 just before Copdock.

The lorry blocked one of the lanes heading northbound, causing traffic congestion in the area.

The road was cleared at 11:45.
