A MAN in his 30s has been given a police caution for running a brothel following a raid in Suffolk.
Officers arrested a man and a woman yesterday at a property in Ashbourne Court, Newmarket.
A 38-year-old woman, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of an immigration offence and has been released to attend a reporting centre in Croydon. A 35-year-old man, also of no fixed address, was cautioned for running a brothel and was also arrested in relation to an immigration offence.
His case has been passed to the UK Border Agency.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said: “Anyone with any information about brothels operating in their area should contact Suffolk Police on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
