ELITE League Speedway newcomers Birmingham have swooped to sign Great Britain international Danny King for their return to the top flight.
King, 24, was looking for a new club after Ipswich dropped into the Premier League and quickly agreed terms with Brummies boss Graham Drury.
The Perry Barr club have also snapped-up exciting Danish youngster Rene Bach, who will take a doubling-up spot in their team whilst lining up for Newcastle in the Premier League.
King said: “This is a fresh start for me and I am thrilled to be linking up with Birmingham and the exciting challenge of taking them into the Elite League.
“Birmingham is a good track with good facilities and I’m sure it can be a success in the Elite League. I’m really pleased to be joining them.”
