MILDENHALL are pleased to confirm that Armed Service personnel and their families will be admitted free on Sunday when The Art And Stitch Fen Tigers collide with Bournemouth (5pm start)

Club owner Ray Mascall said “We are proud to be involved with this in conjuction with the BSPA and The Armed Forces who do superb job for our country, all they need to do is show their Idendity Card at the turnstile and they will be admitted free of charge, we hope they enjoy themselves and perhaps will revisit in the future after they have sampled the West Row experience in what should be a very good meeting against the Buccaneers”.

The match will see the return of former Fen Tiger Mark Baseby and hs brother Aaron who are still popular at the Suffolk circuit along with Chris Mills who has plenty of Premier League experience noteably wth near neighbours Kings Lynn.

Team Manager John Adams said “ This will be a hard meeting but on I am expecting all 3 points from the match though as we look to consilidate our play off position in the National League.”

Meanwhile Mildenhall went down only their second away defeat of the season t high flying Newport this past Sunday with a 56 – 33 reverse at Queensway Meadows, Adams said”We battled well especially in the second half of the meeting when we actually shaded it 23 – 19 but we left ourselves too much to do against a very good outfit in the Hornets, we decided against going with a guest for the unavailable Jerran (Hart) as we could not get a suitable one to step in for our No.1 but we will still be there or therabouts at the end of the season of that I have no doubt and we also had our problems there with Matt Wright blowing both his engines.”
