Firefighters were called to reports of a bungalow fire in west Suffolk this afternoon.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue received reports of a blaze in Blackbourne Road, Elmswell at about 2.30pm.
Crews from Elmswell and Bury St Edmunds arrived to find a fire affecting a quarter of the roof. They removed roof tiles to gain access and had the fire under control in a little over an hour.
