POLICE officers are appealing for information following a burglary at a Post Office in Ipswich.
Officers were called just before 1am today to reports that a burglary had taken place in the Post Office in Selkirk Road, Ipswich.
The robber, who was wearing a balaclava, had forced entry to the shop through the main door. He was seen to enter and remove cigarettes from behind the counter before leaving the shop.
The man then got into a dark blue vehicle and drove off towards the Glencoe Road area.
Police are appealing for witnesses or for anyone who has information relating to the incident to contact Ipswich CID on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
