Man arrested in connection with burglary in St Osyth

A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary at a property in St Osyth.

Shortly before 8am today Essex Police received reports that a man had broken into a home on Beach Road.

Officers arrived and arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of burglary.

Police also received reports of a man attempting to gain entry into a number of parked vans in the St Osyth area and would like to speak to anyone who saw attempts being made to break into their vehicle this morning.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Clacton CID on 101, quoting incident 223 of August 14.
