CHILDREN were sent home early from a school near Stowmarket today after a suspected burst water main during the morning.

Pupils at Great Finborough's primary school were collected by parents after the incident, which is believed to have caused problems for much of the community.

A spokesman for Suffolk County Council, the education authority, said they believe the situation will be resolved in time for the school to reopen on Monday.
