A 43-YEAR-old man arrested in connection with a violent attack in Springfield Road, Bury St Edmunds, on Tuesday evening has been released on police bail.
The man, from Botesdale, will return to the town's police station next month.
A police spokesman said a 40-year-old man suffered head injuries in the incident: “The victim remains in a stable condition at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury, having suffered head injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.”
