THE Anglia in Bloom judges are in Bury St Edmunds, with the town hoping to capture another Gold Award.
Judges Nolan Mills and Brian Gardner will be talking to school children, community leaders, senior park rangers, college staff and town residents as they inspect flower beds and displays.
Julia Rackowe, Bury in Bloom’s campaign manager said: “We can’t hide from the fact that the weather hasn’t been on our side this year, with first drought, then downpour. But everyone involved in the judging has pulled out all the stops to make sure this town looks at its blooming, if soggy, best.”
