A man has been arrested in connection with a police chase which saw more than £20,000 of cannabis and weapons recovered from a car over a year ago.

The 31-year-old man was arrested by officers in the West Midlands area on Monday on on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and for possession of an offensive weapon in connection with the incident, which took place on the eastbound A14 near Rougham in July 2018.

More than £20,000 worth of cannabis and weapons were found in a vehicle following a pursuit by police.

The man arrested on Monday was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
