FIREFIGHTERS were damping down late this afternoon (Thursday) after a fire in a shed at the Bury Football Club.
Two crews from the town were called out at 4.35 to the stadium at Ram Meadow, just off Cotton Lane, where the small building was alight.
The cause of the fire is not known but there was no damage to the main part of the football ground as crews used a hose reel to tackle the incident which was over by 5.15.
