Four friends have completed a tandem skydive to raise money for a cause which is close to their hearts.
Jen Driver, Louise Holtaway, Julie Pymer and Lindsay Cutting, all from Bury St Edmunds, undertook the jump on Sunday in Oxfordshire in aid of the Mouth Cancer Foundation. Mrs Holtaway, who works for Ernest Jones in Bury, has been given the all clear after previously being diagnosed with mouth cancer and Mrs Driver’s husband Mal is on the road to recovery after suffering from the disease.
Mrs Cutting, 56, who works at Fred Olsen travel agents in Bury, said: “We all thought the experience was absolutely amazing and we have raised a good amount for the Mouth Cancer Foundation.”
The group have already raised more than £2,000 for the charity by taking part in a 10km walk around London’s Hyde Park. To donate visit www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/Burybusybees
