A busy road in Bury St Edmunds has reopened after fire crews battled a blaze in a three-storey building.
Five fire crews were called to the scene in St Andrews Street North shortly after 5.50am Wednesday, January 15.
Ambulance crews were also at the scene with one person said to have suffered from smoke inhalation.
Fire crews believe the fire started in a kitchen in a flat on the first floor of the building but it is not deemed to be suspicious.
Suffolk Constabulary closed the road at Risbygate Street and St Johns Place and asked drivers to avoid the area.
The road had reopened by 8.07am.
