Bury St Edmunds: Leisure venues targeted by burglars – £300 stolen after tills are forced open

Police are appealing for witnesses after two leisure venues were targeted by burglars.

The incidents took place at around 4am on Monday at the premises in Eastgate Street.

The first incident involved the door to a snooker hall being forced open with three tills each containing £100 stolen from inside.

An attempt was also made to force the door of the adjacent premises, but no entry was gained.
