A man has been re-arrested this morning in connection with the murder of a woman in Bury St Edmunds.
Mary Roberts, 50, was found dead in the car park of the St Edmunds Tavern pub in Risbygate Street in the town on March 27.
The 56-year-old man from the Bury St Edmunds area, who was due to return on police bail on June 4, was re-arrested this morning on suspicion of murder and is currently being held in the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
A second person, a 59-year-old man from the Bury St Edmunds area who was also arrested on suspicion of murder, remains on police bail and is due to return to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on June 5.
