One lane of the A14 near Bury St Edmunds has closed following a collision involving a heavy goods vehicle and a caravan.

The incident happened on the Bury St Edmunds-bound carriageway between the junctions for Stowupland and Stowmarket at about 2.45pm today.

The incident involved a lorry and a caravan, which was being towed by another vehicle.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said nobody has suffered any life-threatening or life-changing injuries as a result of the collision.

Recovery has been arranged for the vehicles.
