FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a car fire in Bury St Edmunds today.
The blaze broke out at about 6am in Rougham Road.
Two crews from the town’s fire station arrived at the scene to discover smoke billowing from a car.
A spokesman for the brigade said the smoking was caused by a “blown engine”.
They tackled the flames, bringing the incident quickly under control.
