Three people have been taken to hospital with minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds.

The incident involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a Smart Car and happened around the area for the slip road leading to the A134.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene of the incident, on the Bury St Edmunds-bound carriageway, at about 12.25am.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said three people were taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment, although their injuries were not thought to be serious.
