Bury St Edmunds: Three-vehicle crash and broken down vehicle cause delays on A14

EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on the A14.

The collision happened on the westbound carriageway at junction 43 for Bury Central at 8.05am.

The three-vehicle crash, involving a blue Mitsubishi, silver Volkswagen Eos and a grey Peugeot 207, caused the silver vehicle to roll into a ditch.

It is unclear at this stage whether there are any injuries.

A minute later, a broken down sugarbeet harvester was reported to Suffolk police on the A14 on slip for Bury St Edmunds.

The carriageway is partially blocked with delays and queuing traffic.
