A WOMAN sustained serious leg injuries after falling at her home.
A volunteer doctor from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service charity was called out to help paramedics with the incident in Bury St Edmunds.
A woman in her 40s had fallen and suffered a serious leg fracture at 12.45am today.
The doctor administered special painkilling drugs before realigning and splinting the fractures.
She was then taken by ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital.
