Hundreds of homes and businesses were left without water this morning due to a problem with the supply in the Bury St Edmunds area.
Many people in the town centre have been hit by the problem - with businesses being particularly badly affected.
Bosses at Anglian Water were unable to say exactly how many customers had been hit but a spokeswoman said a technician had been called in to look into the fault. The company is expected to reveal more about the extent of the problem and how long it will take to put right this afternoon.
