More than 60 organisations from the largest equine hospital in Europe to a firm specialising in turning desert into green space will be taking part in Writtle University College’s Careers Fair this month.
The event, on Wednesday, November 29, will be showcasing careers including with The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery, Colchester Zoo, the National Trust, English Heritage and the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. They will be joined by a specialist veterinary centre, pet behaviour counsellors, a physiotherapy centre and the local Football Association.
Careers co-ordinator Mark Yates said: “The nature of our specialist courses means that there are some very interesting career options for our students, such as a nutritionist, an equine behaviour consultant or a government research scientist. Nearly 97% of the last Higher Education cohort surveyed were either working or undertaking further study.”
