ESSEX-based estate agents Beresfords has welcomed a new member to its country homes team.

Adrian Bagnall has worked in the property market for over 20 years starting in the Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge areas in the mid 1980s. Whilst in London he worked for highly renowned firms such as John D Wood, Cluttons and Hurford Salvi Carr and was the property expert on Drive Time Radio for GLR and is still on the property panel for Radio 5 Live.

In 2005 he was made partner in charge of the Essex Country Homes department for Strutt and Parker in Chelmsford, a role that introduced him to the country homes market in the region.

“Through working and living in the North Essex/Suffolk borders I have grown to admire the area greatly and am delighted to be working for Beresfords managing the country homes division in the north of the county,” he said.

“This is a truly exciting time for me, not only am I putting my experience to best use but I'm working in, and promoting, one of the most versatile counties in the country.”

He is supported by a team based in the south of the county in Chelmsford. Simon Wills, manager of the division, is accompanied by Tim Stranks, Claire Fogarty and Secretary Nicola Brigati.
