DISPENSING optician Alan Flint has joined The Specs Factory as a partner in the company's new Ipswich store, which opened recently.Mr Flint is a fully qualified dispensing optician and has been in the optical business for 21 years.

DISPENSING optician Alan Flint has joined The Specs Factory as a partner in the company's new Ipswich store, which opened recently.

Mr Flint is a fully qualified dispensing optician and has been in the optical business for 21 years. Following initial training with Dollond and Aitchison, he worked for both an independent optician's in Ipswich, and most recently managed a hospital-based optician's for the NHS.

Managing director Duncan Hockney said: “We are delighted to welcome Alan, a highly experienced optical professional, to The Specs Factory team. We are looking forward enormously to introducing The Specs Factory concept to Ipswich and surrounding area.”
