Suffolk-based TA Hotel Collection is celebrating after three of its leading hotels were awarded “gold” accolades by VisitEngland.

The Swan Hotel at Lavenham, and the White Lion Hotel and the Brudenell, both in Aldeburgh, have all received gold awards in recognition of exceptional quality within their star rating.

They were judged on their quality, comfort and cleanliness, housekeeping, service, bedrooms and food, as well as hospitality and high levels of customer care.

Peter Osborne, general manager at the White Lion, said: “Winning the gold award for the first time shows how committed the whole team are, and validates their hard work.”

Ingo Wiangke, general manager of the Swan, added: “To achieve gold for a second year running is a glowing testament to our team’s hard work, dedication and passion to providing only the very best customer service.”

And Garth Wray, general manager at the Brudenell, said: “It means a great deal to all of the Brudenell team that for the third year in a row we have achieved this gold award from VisitEngland.”

Grahame Tinnion, managing director of TA Hotel Collection, said: “Congratulations to Peter, Ingo and Garth and all our staff who provide excellent levels of customer service on a daily basis and help us to continue to go from strength to strength and achieve success.”
