The new managing director of the John Grose Group, one of the largest motor traders in the eastern region, is to be Alister Leith who replaces Mike Kiff who retired in May.

The new managing director of the John Grose Group, one of the largest motor traders in the eastern region, is to be Alister Leith who replaces Mike Kiff who retired in May.

Lowestoft-based John Grose which has locations across the county including Ipswich and Woodbridge and north to Diss on the Norfolk border, has an annual turnover of £120 million.

It is one of the larger employers too with 480 employees and has a variety of franchises including Ford.

Alister Leith comes to John Grose from the Dutton Forshaw Group where he spent 14 years in senior management positions.

In the most recent years he has had responsibility for the Dovercourt Essex Ford business along with Mercedes and Honda businesses in Kent.

He was also a main board director of the Dutton Forshaw Group of 38 dealerships.

Alister Leith lives in Hoxne, Suffolk, with his wife Kate and their three children.
